Bonfire Guardian

Story:

An elite soldier has gone missing, cut off from his regiment and trapped deep within a ruined frontier fortress. Surrounded by an encroaching supernatural darkness, despair should have taken him.

But a soldier’s heart belongs to his homeland.

Facing certain death, he refuses to die in the shadows. Drawn to the memories of his youth—the warmth of his people, the laughter of the spring festival, and the sacred traditions of Nowruz—he builds a lone tonqal (bonfire) in the center of the cold fortress courtyard. Drawing his heavy, Ottoman-inspired blade, he prepares to make his final stand.


The Nowruz Perk System:

In many Turkic cultures, jumping over the tonqal during Nowruz is a symbolic act of purification—leaving behind the hardships, bad luck, and sickness of the past year to embrace a fresh, energized start.

In our game, we transformed this beautiful tradition into a core survival mechanic. When the horde pins you down, your greatest asset isn't just your sword—it is your faith in the ceremony.
